NQA Board approves the QFEmirates

The QFEmirates is the product of genuine efforts that involved more than four years of hard work and a consultation process at both national and international levels. These efforts have resulted in a very high quality document that the Board of the National Qualifications Authority (NQA) approved on the 20th February 2012. Accordingly, it is now the official document that NQA is implementing in cooperation with relevant entities and entrusted bodies.

The document set out policies, structures, systems and procedures for a qualifications framework for the United Arab Emirates. It responds to much demand from institutions and/or curriculum developers wanting to align their learning outcomes to UAE`s framework for qualifications. Users are able to access detailed information about the QFEmirates and its associated parts for technical referencing. As the QFEmirates is the first national qualifications framework for the UAE, various issues may arise now and then. This is a normal practice worldwide and welcomed by the NQA team.
